Centered double decrease (CDD)

Lace (horseshoe, fern), V-neck with a neckband, crown.

Centered double decrease (CDD): slip two stitches together as if to k2tog, knit the third and pass the slipped stitches over it. The center stitch sits on top in a neat column, minus 2 sts

How to do it

  1. Slip two stitches together as if to k2tog.
  2. Knit the next stitch.
  3. Pass the two slipped stitches over it.

Tip

Minus 2 sts, and the center stitch lies straight on top.
