Wrap & turn short rows (W&T)

The classic method, if German short rows are not your thing.

Wrap & turn (W&T): slip the stitch, move the yarn to the other side, return the stitch to the left needle: the yarn has wrapped its base. Turn the work. Later the wrap is worked together with the stitch

How to do it

  1. Work to the turning point and slip the next stitch to the right needle.
  2. Move the yarn to the other side of the work.
  3. Return the stitch to the left needle: it is now "wrapped". Turn the work.
  4. Later, work the wrap together with its stitch.
