Lifted increase
The least visible increase in stockinette: raglan lines, round yoke.
How to do it
- Right: with the right needle, lift the right leg of the stitch in the row below the next stitch, knit it, then knit the stitch itself.
- Left: knit the stitch, then with the left needle lift the left leg of the stitch 2 rows below and knit it.
Tip
Do not work lifted increases in the same spot every row, or the fabric will pucker.
