Stitches on waste yarn

Sleeves when dividing the yoke, shoulders to be joined later.

waste yarn instead of needle
Stitches on hold: thread smooth contrasting waste yarn on a needle and pass it through the stitches, taking them off the knitting needle. Tie the ends loosely: the stitches will wait until you come back to them

How to do it

  1. Thread a smooth contrasting yarn onto a tapestry needle.
  2. Draw it through the stitches, slipping them off the needle.
  3. Tie the ends loosely.

Tip

You can also use spare circular needles or a cable.
