Square

Retro silhouette, vests, tops. Width neck/2 + 5 cm, depth 8–12 cm.

Square: bind off the whole neck width in one row, then work both shoulders straight, without decreases. On the neckband, double decreases at the 4 corners

How to do it

On a RS row, bind off the entire neck opening width at once.
Work both shoulders even with no decreases: the neckline edges are vertical.
Neckband: mark the 4 corner stitches; every round, work a centered double decrease on them.

Tip

For crisp corners, keep the neckband narrow: 2–2.5 cm.
