Twisted left-leaning decrease
The pair to the twisted right-leaning decrease: leans left with a crisp twisted top stitch.
How to do it
- Slip 1 stitch purlwise to the right needle with the yarn at the back.
- Knit the next stitch.
- Pass the slipped stitch over the knitted one with the left needle.
Tip
Because the stitch was slipped purlwise, it lies twisted after being passed over. An ordinary skp, where the stitch is slipped knitwise, gives an untwisted stitch.
Minus 1 stitch.
